Limited Time Magic has been a total success on bringing special one-of-a-kind moments to the parks, and this time they are doing it with something special that has being around the parks for a long time. The Dapper Dans, Main Street U.S.A original Performers. The Dapper Dans tip their hats to a new kind of music that they discovered while "strolling through the park one day." Watch for this winsome quartet and their all-new medley that will have "Everybody" seeing "What Makes You Beautiful." But they won't be saying "Bye Bye Bye" to barbershop completely—after all, the Dapper Dans are the "Original Boy Band." As a Part of Limited Time Magic, this musical time warp band will be singing songs from famous "Boy Bands" like One Direction and N'SYNC, this is definitely a can't-miss experience at Magic Kingdom park in Florida. We’re getting in the spirit for the big game this weekend with a super pigskin-themed pre-parade and some other “Limited Time Magic” surprises at the Walt Disney World Resort. Beginning today, you can see a super pre-parade celebration just ahead of the daily performances of the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” parade at Magic Kingdom Park. It’ll feature Disney football star Goofy and some Central Florida youth football champions. You can also expect to see Walt Disney World Resort cheerleaders and two of the nuttiest referees this side of the 50-yard line and other character favorites.
The pre-parade will run for a limited time – through February 3 – and lead up to a special ticker-tape parade down Main Street, U.S.A., after the big game on February 4. Also, during this time, check out Cosmic Ray’s new menu items that commemorate the super Sunday celebration. Special “Soup-er Bowls” representing the teams will be available for one-week only, from February 1 – 9. Savor the Lobster Bisque and Tomato Basil Bisque only available as part of our “Limited Time Magic” celebration Limited Time Magic is getting exciting! Be sure to come back here to find more about it! While many of us celebrate the New Year on January 1, the Lunar New Year is usually between late January and early February, determined by the cycles and phases of the moon. Best known as “Chinese New Year,” Lunar New Year is also celebrated by the Vietnamese and Korean cultures, and is a time for big festivities. Disney California Adventure park is joining in the fun with the Happy Lunar New Year Celebration, part of “Limited Time Magic” from February 8-11, with the eateries in Pacific Wharf adding Asian-inspired treats. Lucky Fortune Cookery is adding chicken and veggie pot stickers and pork spare riblets with char siu sauce to its menu, as well as ginger milk tea (a delicious new creation by the Disney chefs) and mini-almond cookies. Pacific Wharf Café is adding a barbecued pork bao roll, a traditional Chinese steamed bun, along with ginger milk tea and almond cookies. And their popular Chinese chicken salad in a sourdough bowl fits the bill, too. The San Francisco cart adds the barbecued pork bao roll, edamame, almond cookies and ginger milk tea, while the Boudin Bread Cart is offering a giant loaf of sourdough shaped like a snake, for “the year of the snake.”
Pacific Palisades Coffee Cart is adding ginger milk tea, edamame and almond cookies, while Rita’s Baja Blenders will offer Tsing Tao beer. Try a little of everything to celebrate lively Asian flavors and a different tradition this year. Happy Lunar New Year! There’s nothing like ringing in the New Year at Disney Parks, but if you can’t join, Disney is keeping the excitement going to begin January with some special “Limited Time Magic” at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.
